We first heard The Shondes almost a year ago and were blown away by the power of their music. They were riveting, undeniably gifted and seemed so committed to their art -- we knew they would be an important band.

The Shondes recently toured the West Coast in support of their new full-length record The Red Sea – produced by Tony Maimone. We invited the band to visit CoG Headquarters the morning after their show at Mississipi Pizza. Lucky for us they were able to come! Our time was short – and the morning hectic – but we loved meeting The Shondes! Only one regret… we didn’t get to talk about our mutual love of Joss Whedon!
